Journey Of relaxation exercise
Hello everyone, welcome to my blog page I am very happy that we will be getting to know each other better during this term. When reflecting back to the Journey On relaxation exercise I feel that it really took my stress and tense feelings out of my body and in return left awareness and life back into my limbs. This technique I believe would be wonderful with individuals that suffer from anger issues and struggle to find solutions in calming the mind and body down. It not only made me feel like I was being able to relax my self in this crazy fast pace world we live in, but it made me feel like the every day stressors I face can be faced. It makes you feel like anything is possible because your mind and body are working together to achieve the same goals, instead of fighting against each other as a result of the mind being out of balance. I feel like in this century for sure we have forgotten how to take a step back and enjoy being human, we are always trying to reach a goal that in the end will never make us physically, mentally and spiritually happy if we do not learn how to train our brain towards positive thinking. The Journey On exercise was very influential to me, because there is no other technique that will relax you to the state of weightlessness and at the same time keep you feeling energetic and free, feeling like you can achieve anything. Mae West once said "you only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough" meaning that when we have lived a relaxing and conscious mental and bodied life then wholesomeness will be all you feel in the end.

I would like to start by saying I like the way that you have your page up. I think your blog page is setup in a neat, peaceful manner and it looks very nice. I am excited about blogging in this class as I believe that this is the second class I have had to blog in. I found the exercise to be very relaxing and I agree with you on the fact that we generally do not take a step back and enjoy being human. Hopefully, we can learn some techniques in this class to help us with this aspect of life.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteNice page. I enjoyed that relaxation exercise also. I see it was able to relax you, great. I read one student's blog and he stated that it didn't do anything for him. I think to take full advantage of the exercise you have to ensure that you are in a quite area away from all interruptions. I intend to look for more exercises such as these. I like that saying from Mae West. It made me laugh because it is so true. I guess we better make sure we do it right.
Hi Stephanie, yes I too agree that this is a wonderful way of getting in touch with our inner self. When we go to that place of relaxation all things are possible. I do believe that this will not just be a benefit for someone that is angry but a benefit for all of us. I enjoyed reading your blog and how well you did after the meditation. Keep up the good work and there is no telling how far you will go! See you on the blog.
